Abdominal compartment syndrome after endovascular repair of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm: A case report and literature review

چکیده
Background: Abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) arises in approximately 7% after ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (RAAA) treatment. Decompressive laparotomy is a satisfactory way to treat ACS. The problem deciding when complete closure with appropriate alternative treatments.[1]
Methods: This case report of successful ACS treatment following RAAA intervention at Ho Chi Minh University Hospital Medicine and Pharmacy literature review.
Clinical case: A 61-year-old male patient was hospitalized for pain. Computed tomography angiography demonstrated RAAA. He underwent the emergency endovascular repair aneurysms (rEVAR). At 30 minutes post-intervention, patient's abdomen distended intraabdominal hypertension measured via bladder catheter. Within diagnosing, decompressive laparoscopy performed. wall left open covered sterile nylon cover. fascial performed on sixth postoperative day support vacuum-assisted wound (VAC) mesh-mediated traction. On 27th day, could close completely, be discharged successfully.
Conclusion: pressure required monitor postoperatively laparotomy. Delayed supporting VAC until total closure.

Abdominal compartment syndrome after endovascular repair for ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm leads to acute intestinal necrosis
INTRODUCTION Abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) after endovascular repair (EVAR) of rupture abdominal aortic aneurysm (rAAA) is a rare emergency situation, which has a high mortality. However, the progression of ACS is rapid and the diagnosis is usually been delayed, which increase the difficulties in treatment and affect the prognosis. We describe a case of a sever complication (acute intest...
متن کاملRuptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm after Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair
In treating uncomplicated abdominal aortic aenurysm, endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) has been employed as a good alternative to open repair with low perioperative morbidity and mortality. However, the aneurysm can enlarge or rupture even after EVAR as a result of device failure, endoleak, or graft migration. We experienced two cases of aneurismal rupture after EVAR, which were succes...

متن کامل[Endovascular repair of a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm].
Endovascular repair of ruptured aortic aneurysm (REVAR) has been used worldwide in high volume centres since 1994. Observational studies indicate that this treatment modality is equally as good as or maybe even better than open surgery. Until recently, open surgery was the only treatment option in Denmark, but since 2012 REVAR has been introduced at Odense University Hospital and is now perform...
